On Wednesday, February 8th, the annual Middle School Brain Bowl was held at K International School, Tokyo. The Brain Bowl is a general knowledge quiz competition in which international schools from the Kanto Plain area take part. Teams are made up of students from different schools, giving everyone an opportunity to create new friendships and compete in a spirit of cooperation. A-JIS students did particularly well this year, with a student in each of the top two teams. Rikuo Miura (8G) was a member of the winning team, and Yuki Mashiko (6R) was on the second place team.  The final decision was made after a very exciting play off between the two teams.

2月8日水曜日に年一度の中等部ブレイン・ボールがKインターナショナルスクールで行われました。ブレイン・ボールは関東地区のインターナショナルスクールが参加する一般知識クイズゲームです。チームは異なった学校からの生徒で構成され、全員に新しい友達作りや協力する精神を持ちながらの競争の場を与えるものです。A-JISの生徒もよく頑張り、上位2チームに本校の生徒が一人入っていました。三浦陸生君が優勝チームに、増子裕樹君が準優勝チームの一員でした。最終結果は二つのチームでの非常にエキサイティングなプレーオフで決まりました。
